The Coughy House Podcast is a weekly podcast created by people in the medical marijuana industry for those who have an interest in the medical marijuana industry, including politicians, patients, consumers, and practitioners. Hi, I’m Alyssa! Born, raised, and still residing in South Dakota, I love my state and want to do everything I can to ensure it remains a great place to live. Originally from Brookings, I moved to Sioux Falls in 2017 and after many years of working in e-commerce and digital business development, it was time for a change.
In this new uncharted industry, I believe that information is the key to making sure all consumers have access to safe, quality products. It’s no secret that there is a huge information gap between state regulators and residents, I want to help fix that by providing a 3rd party information source that can be trusted to bring you the latest updates on what is going on within the industry.
Hi, My name is David Blackburn, I am originally from Kansas City, Missouri, but have lived in Sioux Falls since 2010. During that time, I have held several positions in the industry and have been a consumer for at least 10 years.
I mainly consume to cope with chronic back pain after having two major surgeries and being diagnosed with a spinal disorder. Cannabis helps to mitigate the extreme pain and added complications associated with this disorder. It helps me remain active and productive, which affects our family immensely.
I’m passionate about helping to connect patients to the most accurate and up-to-date information on this complex industry.
